Meet Toni
Conservative Leadership.
Delivering Results for Our Community.
Toni Williams was raised in rural Virginia and has been a resident of the Jackson District of Louisa County for nearly three decades. He has been married to his wife Carla for 31 years and together they have three daughters and five sons.
Toni is a small business owner and beef cattle farmer who has created over 40 jobs in the County of Louisa in the construction, masonry, and audio & visual industries. His understanding of the struggles facing small business owners has motivated his work to make Louisa County a business friendly environment.
Toni was first elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2015, elected by his colleagues to the position of Vice-Chairman in 2018, and Chairman in 2019. He currently serves on the Finance Committee, Community Policy Management Team, and Management Oversight Group. During his time on the board, Toni has prioritized preserving the agriculture and forestry industries which sustain our county while also fostering smart new business growth so that our residents can have better opportunities to earn a living. Under Toni's leadership the Rural Preservation Committee was reorganized to ensure we don't lose the rural character of Louisa County.
With Toni's pragmatic voice on the Board, Louisa County has succeeded in implementing fiscally responsible policies such as increasing the Rainy Day Fund to maintain the solid financial state of our county regardless of economic ups and downs, strategically paying off long-term County debt were possible thereby not wasting tax dollars on unnecessary interest payments, creating a savings account where future capital improvements can be funded by cash and not through raising taxes or borrowing money. Keeping taxes low and reducing wasteful spending have been top priorities for Toni. The budget plan created under his chairmanship prioritizes funding for core county services such as fire, EMS, and education without raising taxes.
