Candidates wade into Tea Party forum
Williams said he wants the county to be rid of its debt within the next eight years. Taxpayers are currently paying down a $40 million loan for the James River Water Project and $20 million in debt for various Louisa County Public School projects.
“Wouldn’t it be nice to pay for all of our capital needs every year without raising taxes?” he asked.

Conservative leadership would represent majority of locals' values
Toni Williams as Chairman has also shown effective leadership ability as he’s guided the Board through one of the most in-depth and necessary overhauls of the county’s Comprehensive Plan. Louisa needs to adapt to the changing demands of its citizens. Under Mr. William’s leadership, we are poised to see the targeted economic growth needed to provide more well-paying jobs while also maintaining the agricultural industries which are our backbone.

Jackson supervisor is right to push for fiber optic internet
Fiber optic internet connectivity will provide reliable high-speed internet capable of withstanding the exponential growth in data usage that is expected year over year. Tower-based line of sight broadband internet is technology that is already bordering on obsolete with speeds that may not be reliable in the years to come.
